Fed is lagging ECB, BofE, BoJ on climate action. Fed doesn’t buy a lot of corporate debt in QE -> doesn’t face same dirty asset issue. BUT Fed does buy hundreds of billions of MBS. For net zero they need to be green too. We need “climate conforming” MBS.
